CVS Health, through Omnicare, seeks a licensed Pharmacist in Indiana for a full-time LTC pharmacy role in Fort Wayne. You will ensure accurate order entry, maintain pharmacy security, and support compliance with DEA/state law and HIPAA.

The role requires IV/immunization considerations and provides evening/weekend coverage, 40 hours weekly, with a competitive pay range and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in Indiana (active, in good standing).
• Long-Term Care pharmacy experience preferred.
• IV certification or experience preferred.
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsabilités

• Ensure accurate entry of orders.
• Maintain security of the pharmacy.
• Adhere to required delivery schedules.
• Verify orders entered by technicians for accuracy.
• Check for completeness and precision of new and refill labels and orders.
• Check content and accuracy of drug packaging and labeling.
• Prepare and/or supervise sterile IV drugs if required.
• Assist in maintaining perpetual inventory for scheduled drugs.
• Know DEA and state law regarding controlled dispensing.
• Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage during rotation.
• Follow HIPAA and state regulations.

Following the sale of Omnicare by CVS Health, this role will support Omnicare and its continued operations as an independent, standalone organization. You Will

• Ensure accurate entry of orders
• Maintain security of the pharmacy
• Adhere to required delivery schedules

• Check for completeness and precision of all new and refill labels and orders.
• Check for content and accuracy of all drug packaging and labeling.
• Preparation and/or supervision of sterile IV drug products or solutions, if required.
• Assist in maintaining a perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs.
• Knowledge of DEA and state law with regards to controlled drug dispensing.
• Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage during scheduled rotation based on the needs of the business.
• Follow all applicable state and government regulations including HIPAA.
• Other duties as assigned (these vary by location).

This pharmacist will be an integral member of the pharmacy team. Your success will be driven by your ability to lead and foster a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and service. The most successful pharmacists demonstrate excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to prioritize the workflow. The contributions you will make as a Pharmacist in this role will position CVS Health as a leader within the LTC marketplace.

This is a full-time position offering 40 hours a week. Hours are based on the needs of the business. Mon-Fri 8am-11pm, Saturday 8am-8pm and Sunday 8am-4pm. Weekend rotation is every 3rd. There is no on-call requirement.

Required Qualifications

Must be a licensed pharmacist in the state of Indiana, must be active & in good standing

Preferred Qualifications

Long Term Care pharmacy experience

IV Certification or experience

Immunization certification or willingness to become immunization certified

Education

Bachelors of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy

The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is

$45.43 - $76.15

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
