Job summary

CVS Health, through Omnicare, seeks a licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania to provide comprehensive drug screening, information, processing, and dispensing services for various drug distribution systems in long‑term care facilities. Candidates must be in good standing and hold a PharmD or equivalent.

The role requires 34 hours weekly with a Monday–Friday schedule, competitive pay range, and comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision, PTO, and a 401K with company match.

Qualifications

• Must be a PA-licensed pharmacist in good standing.
• Experience in long-term care settings preferred.
• IV experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure medications dispensed are clinically appropriate.
• Verify orders entered by technicians for accuracy.
• Provide accurate and timely drug information to providers and customer facilities.
• Check for completeness and precision of all new and refill labels and orders.
• Check for content and accuracy of all drug packaging and labeling.
• Prepare and/or provide supervision of sterile IV drug products or solutions, as required.
• Assist in maintaining a perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs.
• Be knowledgeable of DEA and state law with regards to controlled drug dispensing.
• Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed by the business.
• Follow all applicable state and government regulations including HIPAA.

This pharmacist will provide routine and emergency comprehensive and accurate drug screening, information, processing, and dispensing services for various drug distribution systems to the centers. We are looking for someone who has a phenomenal work ethic to provide outstanding service and to ensure that the appropriate drug product reaches the customer both efficiently and safely.

You will:

This pharmacist will be an integral member of the pharmacy team. Your success will be driven by your ability to lead and foster a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and service. The most successful pharmacists demonstrate excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to prioritize the workflow.

This is a full‑time position. Schedule will be Monday-Friday variable shifts, based on the needs of the business spanning day and evening shifts. The weekend rotation is every third/fourth.There is no on-call requirement.

Required Qualifications

Must be a licensed pharmacist in the state of Pennsylvania, active and in good standing.

The typical pay range for this role is:

$55.53 - $93.08

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
