Job summary
Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health in Brooklyn, NY is seeking an experienced Dispensing Nurse to monitor patient needs and support medical care at the OTP clinic. You will work with the Nurse Manager, Medical Director and Clinical Supervisor to ensure complete medical records and proper dispensing of medications.
The role requires an LPN license in Maryland, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of medication-assisted treatment experience.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensed in Maryland as an LPN.
- 1 year of experience in medication assisted treatment.
- CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
Responsibilities
- Greet every patient and verify identity and medication using two identifiers.
- Ensure medical services comply with Federal, State, CARF, and COMAR standards.
- Manage medication inventory and dispense medications per protocol.
- Process medical orders and perform physical exams/evaluations as required.
- Maintain accurate medical records and file documentation within 24 hours.
- Collect specimens and coordinate referrals and dosage verification.
