Job Summary

The Dispensary Supervisor assists with the daily operations of the dispensary (retail store) and supports the management team. This role is responsible for maintaining excellent customer service and ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards. The supervisor sets performance standards and motivates associates, requiring strong leadership qualities and knowledge of dispensary inventory and products.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Provide top-tier customer service
2. Follow and uphold policies for sales and service to ensure satisfaction
3. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products and industry trends, sharing expertise with team members
4. Monitor and manage inventory levels, communicate with the team about inventory actions
5. Assist in customer consultations, ensuring informed product choices based on consumption methods
6. Delegate tasks during shifts, including cash handling, POS system use, data entry, verifying deliveries, security, store cleanliness, visitor logs, end-of-day reports, and vault management
7. Collaborate with management to ensure smooth, compliant store operations
8. Address issues and complaints through daily activities and maintenance
9. Manage opening and closing procedures
10. Support onboarding and training of new staff

Job Requirements

• Experience in the cannabis industry required
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Strong retail math skills
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or management role in retail, especially with POS systems
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Basic computer skills
• Positive attitude, teamwork, and strong work ethic
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• Compliance with cannabis industry regulations
• Excellent organization and time management
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow training and instructions
