Job summary

4Front Ventures is seeking a Dispensary Retail Supervisor to oversee daily tasks, support the team, and ensure compliance and guest satisfaction across the store. This role emphasizes leadership across all workstations and collaboration with management to maintain high morale and service standards.

The position requires full availability including nights, weekends, and holidays, with a starting wage of $22 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 21+ and residing in the USA.
• Dispensing Organization Agent Identification Card obtained upon hire.
• Associate degree or industry training preferred.
• Retail experience 2+ years preferred.
• Cannabis industry experience 2+ years preferred.
• Guest service experience 1+ years preferred.
• Team building & management experience 1+ years preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local and state laws and assist with regulatory inspections.

• Partner with cash-handling managers to ensure proper cash flow and intake.
• Assist guests with inquiries and provide hospitality and service recovery.

• Delegate, manage, and empower the team to optimize performance.
• Align with Floor Manager to meet financial and operational goals.

POSITION OVERVIEW

• The Dispensary Retail Supervisor helps ensure all the daily tasks of the department get properly executed. This position requires a leader that has experience in every workstation of the department and strong cannabis knowledge. Priorities include providing full support to the team, assisting with rest/lunch breaks, communicating departmental updates, and executing all processes within the department. The Floor Supervisor will serve as one of the main points of contact for guest related inquiries (service and product feedback), product trends, and employee performance, and must collaborate with management to while help maintain a high team morale.

AVAILABILITY

• Our store is open 7 days a week
• Full shift availability (nights, weekends, and holidays required)

COMPENSATION

• Starting hourly wage, $22/hr, experience dependent

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the site is in full compliance with all local and state laws while assisting with regulatory inspections
• Work cross-functionally through the operation and maintain a hands-on "lead by example" approach
• Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed by all employees in the unit
• Partner with approved cash handling managers/supervisors to ensure the dispensary's cash flow/intake is properly managed
• Assist the team with inquiries and service recovery while ensuring the highest level of hospitality is achieved
• Collaborate with the Inventory department on all product related processes/matters
• Implement and manage all Company policies and procedures
• Assist with the hiring, training, coaching, and development of employees
• Delegate, manage, and empower the team to achieve an optimal performance
• Align with the Floor Manager to set, meet, and manage all financial and operational goals
• Assist in any and all areas to ensure the team, department, and company division maintain success

QUALIFICATIONS

• 21+ and currently residing in the USA
• High School Diploma or GED
• Dispensing Organization Agent Identification Card (obtained upon hire)
• Associate Degree or industry training equivalent (preferred)
• Retail experience, 2+ years (preferred)
• Cannabis industry experience, 2+ years (preferred)
• Guest service experience, 1+ years (preferred)
• Team building & management experience, 1+ years (preferred)
• Excellent communication, multi-tasking, time-management, planning, & organizational skills
• Detail-oriented, critical thinker, problem solver, & assessor
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Fast-paced, rapid-changing, retail dispensary environment
• Front facing, customer-care focused areas/stations
• Confined workstations in close proximity to other people (employees, guests, vendors) and crowds
• Handling cannabis products and packaged goods
• Kneeling, squatting, lifting, bending, walking, pivoting, and long-term standing (all expected activities)
