Job summary

Dutchess Cannabis of Markham, IL is seeking a Full-Time Dispensary Security Agent to ensure a safe shopping environment and support store leadership. The position requires standing for long periods, observing security protocols, and coordinating with management to maintain a compliant and welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in security or a similar role.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills expected.
• Experience with camera surveillance systems preferred.
• First aid and/or CPR certification preferred.
• Positive attitude, team player and strong work ethic.
• Ability to pass background checks and regulatory requirements for cannabis industry.

Responsibilities

• Authorize entrance of staff and customers.
• Verify proper paperwork and identification for entry.
• Maintain internal and perimeter store security.
• Inspect and patrol premises regularly.
• Monitor all access points and respond to alarms.
• Assist customers in-store and over the phone.
• Gather data for incident reporting and training completion.
• Promote a positive, customer-service oriented environment.
• Open/close duties and ensure store remains clean and stocked.
• Guide customers through sales transactions with knowledge and advice.
