Dutchess Cannabis in Batavia, IL is seeking Part-Time Dispensary Security Agents. The role requires handling staff and customer entrance, verifying documents, and maintaining security and cleanliness. You will assist customers, process orders, and stay compliant with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in security or a similar role.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of an approved IDFPR 20 hour basic training course a plus.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills.
• Experience with camera surveillance system is preferred.
• Training in first aid and/or CPR certification is preferred.
• Positive attitude, team player and strong work ethic.
• Willing to build understanding of applicable state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry.
• Must pass any and all required background checks.
• Must be able to obtain and retain a Registered Agent Card issued by the state of operation.

• Ensure the store is well maintained and displays are up-to-date.
• Promote a positive, customer-service oriented work environment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe store environment.
• Complete assigned store opening and closing duties.
• Guide customers through sales transactions with advice and knowledge.

Dutchess Cannabis of Batavia, IL is looking to hire Part-Time Dispensary Security Agents!

The Security Agent works directly with Retail Management in creating a safe and secure environment, that is in full compliance with all regulatory requirements. In addition to the criteria listed below, security agents are required to pass a comprehensive background check to qualify for state regulated agent card.

*Part Time Dispensary Security Agents work between 20-29 hours a week. Must have flexibility to work nights and weekends.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Authorizing entrance of staff and customers
• Verify proper paperwork, documentation, and required identification for customer/vendor entry
• Maintaining internal and perimeter store security
• Inspecting and patrolling premises regularly
• Monitoring all access and egress points on the property
• Respond to alarms in a compliant and timely manner
• Respond to customer inquiries in store, online, and over the phone
• Assist in gathering data for accurate reporting in the event of incidents
• Attends and satisfactorily completes all required training as assigned and required
• Act as Emergency Response point of contact for local law enforcement agencies as required.
• Promptly report any suspicious behaviors or activities-report any observed inconsistencies or hazards to Store Leadership
• Deliver best-in-class customer experience while maintaining operational integrity and compliance throughout the store
• Ensure the store is well maintained including but not limited to cleanliness of check in area, sales floor is stocked, displays and menus are up-to-date and accurate, and the store is well maintained
• Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedure
• Maintains a high level of professionalism- conducts themselves in a manner that does not negatively reflect themselves or the company
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe and inviting store environment
• Complete assigned store opening and closing duties
• Guide customers through sales transactions while offering advice and knowledge as needed or requested

• Fulfill and pack customer orders and move completed orders from fulfillment areas to the sales floor for pick up
• Continuously develop product knowledge to offer customers the most up-to-date information and advice
• Accurately use and maintain the point of sale (POS) system in person and over the phone
• Accurate and timely data entry of customer orders.
• Strive to achieve team and individual performance goals
• Execute inventory, visual merchandising, marketing, customer service, or other in-store operations as directed by Store Leadership

• Accurate cash handling, customer cart management, and ringing of customer transactions
