Job summary

STIIIZY is seeking a Sales Associate in Vernon, CA to be a brand ambassador for our cannabis retail experience. You will help customers select products, share cannabis knowledge and build relationships that drive loyalty.

The role starts as part-time with a base wage of $19.50/hour plus tips, with opportunities to grow as part of a fast-growing company within California's cannabis market.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Open availability including weekends is preferred.
• Ability to meet sales goals and deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection and cannabis recommendations.
• Accurately process sales and cash transactions using the POS system.
• Pick and pack customer orders and ensure accurate fulfillment.
• Maintain store standards and comply with company policies and regulations.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Management team, our Sales Associates understand that Retail is a billboard for the brand. They take pride in being a professional, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable brand ambassador inside and outside the store to ensure the Company’s success within the recreational cannabis landscape. Our Sales Associates are curious, thoughtful, and sales-oriented people who impart cannabis wisdom and create positive customer relationships to build a loyal customer base.

This position starts as a part-time role at $19.50/hour + tips.

• Drive customer visit goals and increase the number of returning customers; successfully achieve sales goals and business metrics
• Pick & pack orders
• Accurately handle cash transactions by operating the point-of-sale system, maintaining precise register
• Seek opportunities to contribute to and improve business results daily
• Adhere to all company training and operational standards and procedures
• Be knowledgeable around company communication, rollouts, directives, and procedures
• Abide by all company policies and programs
• Adhere to all legislative requirements of cannabis retailers, including federal, state and DCC laws and regulations
• Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age
• High school diploma
• Hiring preference will be given to those candidates with open availability
• Open availability is defined as the ability to work all hours required without restrictions, including days, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• All employees must be able to work 2 weekend days (Friday-Sunday), but management reserves the right to assign days depending on workforce needs

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and working on a computer.
• Be able to stand for prolonged periods, bend, kneel, squat, and twist.
