4Front Ventures Corp. is seeking a Dispensary Retail Associate in Worcester, MA to collaborate with the management team to deliver exceptional hospitality and guide guests in cannabis products and regulations.

You will work FOH and BOH duties, assist with inventory, and ensure smooth cash handling at checkout. The role requires 1+ years of retail experience, cannabis industry familiarity, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Retail experience, 1+ years (preferred).
• Cannabis industry experience (preferred).
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Active and valid government issued photo identification.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Dispensing Organization Agent Identification Card (obtained upon hire) in accordance with State law.

Responsibilities

• Follow all site protocols and procedures according to local and state regulations and company policies
• Act as a Mission brand ambassador with a high level of authentic engagement and strong productivity
• Provide excellent service to all guests while customizing recommendations on available cannabis products, industry trends, and consumption methods
• Fulfill all product orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining workstations cleaned and organized
• Follow proper cash handling of all guest transactions
• Assist in all duties as assigned to ensure the team, department, and company division maintain success

POSITION SUMMARY

• The Dispensary Retail Associate collaborates with the dispensary’s management team to ensure every guest receives the highest level of hospitality and experiences cannabis in the best way possible. Priorities include answering questions about the state’s cannabis program and regulations, participating in community events inside/outside of the dispensary, and being able to work all FOH workstations including: Reception, Hosting, Sales Floor/Consulting, and Cashiering. The Retail Associate also assists with product organization, inventory control, communicating with guests, and being able to work all BOH workstations including: Receiving, Packaging, Stocking, Online Ordering, Order Dispatching, and Delivering.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

COMPENSTION

• $18.00 Non-Exempt (Hourly)
• Paid on a bi-weekly basis

POSITION SCHEDULE

• Full time open availability required for scheduling
• Including weekend availability

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Excellent customer service experience (preferably in a fast paced or specialized retail environment)
• Proficient cash handling skills with POS systems experience
• Basic math, organizational, and computer Skills
• Self-starter who can take instructions, follow directions, and work independently/with colleagues
• Strong communicator, detail-oriented, multi-tasker, problem-solver, flexible, friendly, and self-aware

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Work involves physical exertion such as bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), kneeling, squatting, pivoting, and carrying items/ product on a regular basis. Employees will be required to stand for extended periods and may need to climb ladders or operate equipment. The warehouse/ facility environment may be subject to hot and cold temperatures, and ventilation may not be available in all areas. The warehouse/ facility environment may be subject to elevated noise volumes due to equipment, machinery, and the movement of goods. The warehouse/ facility may be subject to dirt, dust, cleaning solutions, chemicals, and debris from the handling of goods. The warehouse/ facility may have safety hazards such as slippery floors, moving equipment, and the presence of hazardous materials. You will need to follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective equipment.
