Job summary

Cemex US is seeking a Dispatcher Transport in Gilbert, AZ to coordinate delivery activities and ensure on-time service for Cemex customers. The Dispatcher will liaise with Sales, Customers and Terminal management to align schedules and resources.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and 2–5 years of customer service experience. Proficiency in Windows and trucking software is desired, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and extended

Responsibilities

• Liaison between Sales, Customers and Terminal management
• Resolve and communicate in a satisfactory and timely manner any customer concerns or issues
• Promote a safe work environment and team mentality
• Learn and could maintain D.O.T. driver’s hours of service daily logs for internal drivers or external contractors, as appropriate and necessary
• Monitor equipment maintenance schedule for company owned equipment to ensure D.O.T. compliance
• Work with Terminal management to provide solutions for more effective and efficient output

Job Summary

The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating activities involved in delivering products or services for CEMEX or customers.

Job Responsibilities

Working Conditions

• Capable to work extended hours, including weekends, as necessary
• Able to work in standard office environment with computer equipment
• Capable to work in open office environment

Physical Requirements

• Requires frequent sitting, standing and walking
• Able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear in order to communicate
