Job summary

United Rentals in South Plainfield, NJ is seeking a Dispatcher to organize daily equipment dispatch for the branch in a safe and timely manner. You will coordinate drivers, schedule deliveries, and support customer needs.

This is a safety-sensitive role with strong teamwork and integrity expectations. The compensation range and benefits reflect our commitment to employees, including paid leave and development opportunities.

• Schedule drivers and organize dispatch of all equipment for the branch
• Assist in taking customer orders for deliveries, pickups and service
• Coordinate emergency field repairs
• Answer customer calls and review driver schedules to fulfill requests
• Assist inside sales team as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Do

• Schedule drivers and organize dispatch of all equipment for the branch
• Assist in taking customer telephone orders for deliveries, pickups and service
• Arrange for all emergency field repairs
• Answer customer calls and review driver schedules in order to fulfill customer requests
• Assist Inside sales team as needed
• Other duties as assigned

This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.
