We are looking for a reliable IN OFFICE Dispatch Security Officer to act as a communication point for emergency and non-emergency calls. You will receive requests, transmit messages, and track vehicles. The ideal candidate must be primarily an excellent communicator and remain calm and composed, especially in emergencies. You must be able to multitask and take the appropriate action with little supervision. The goal is to enable different parties to communicate well by ensuring the accurate and timely transmission of information.

Pay Rates: $20-25

Shift: SWING and GRAVE AVAILABLE

Immediate Start: INCLUDES WEEKENDS

Responsibilities:

  1. Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record significant information.
  2. Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions.
  3. Receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries.
  4. Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance.
  5. Use radio, phone, or computer to send crews, vehicles, or other field units to appropriate locations.
  6. Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule.
  7. Provide field units with information about orders, traffic, obstacles, and requirements.
  8. Enter data in the computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities, and other information.

Skills:

  1. Proven experience as a dispatcher or relevant position.
  2. Tech-savvy with knowledge of relevant methods (CAD).
  3. Fast typing with experience in data entry.
  4. Knowledge of procedures and guidelines for emergency situations.
  5. Proficient in English (oral and written).
  6. Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
  7. Active listener with excellent communication skills.
  8. Sound judgment and critical thinking.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma.
