Job summary

Rinker is seeking a Dispatcher to optimize dispatching systems, maximize production, delivery efficiency, and service. You will communicate with drivers, supervisors, and clients to relay orders and ensure timely execution.

Responsibilities include arranging schedules, receiving work orders, transmitting assignments, coordinating repairs, addressing client questions, and compiling daily progress reports. Candidates should have 2–4 years of experience and strong data entry and DOT knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in a fast-paced multi-task environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Experience in shipping and truck loading; strong data entry skills; knowledge of DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Arrange schedules and dispatch workers, crews, equipment, or service vehicles to locations for installation, service, or repairs.
• Receive and relay work orders to appropriate personnel.
• Transmit assignments using radio or phone.
• Arrange for repairs to restore service and schedules.
• Talk with customers or management about service requests or equipment.
• Compile statistics and daily reports on work progress.

About the Role:

• Arranges schedules and dispatches workers, work crews, equipment, or service vehicles to appropriate locations for normal installation, service, or emergency repairs or for conveyance of materials, freight, or passengers.
• Receives telephone and written work orders, and relays work orders, requests, messages, and information to appropriate personnel or departments.
• Transmits assignments using radio or telephone.
• Arranges for necessary repairs required to restore service and schedules.
• Talks with customers or management to address problems or questions regarding requests for service or equipment.
• Compiles statistics and daily reports on work progress.

Qualifications:

• 2 - 4 years of experience in a fast-paced multi-task environment.
• Will possess excellent verbal/written communication skills
• The ability to work well under pressure
• Have experience in shipping and truck loading and
• Have strong data entry and computer skills.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations are also required.
