Job summary

Cooper Electric Supply, LLC in Cranbury, NJ is seeking a dispatcher to manage driver assignments and coordinate daily deliveries for our Northeast distribution network. You will communicate with customers, analyze routes, and resolve issues to keep on-time service.

The role requires strong problem-solving, excellent communication, and proficiency with dispatch systems. Monday–Friday 8:30am–5pm with health, dental, vision benefits and growth opportunities in a supportive, military-friendly

Responsibilities

• Dispatch and schedule both CDL and non-CDL drivers.
• Communicate with customers regarding deliveries, special handling requests, and service-related issues.
• Analyze routes, review driver logs, and maintain accurate records.
• Resolve delivery issues through regular communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
• Print and distribute daily manifests.
• Direct the movement and positioning of trucks and trailers within the yard.
• Assess truck capacity and identify alternative delivery solutions when needed.
• Coordinate vehicle repairs and communicate equipment-related issues.
• Provide detailed shift handoff reports to ensure seamless transition between teams.
• Escalate driver concerns or performance issues to leadership as appropriate.
• Partner with the operations team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues during the shift.
• Review orders and routes proactively to identify and correct potential problems.

Compensation

Salary Range: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

Location: Cranbury, NJ

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm.
