Job summary

Rinker is seeking a Dispatcher in Winter Haven, FL to coordinate schedules, dispatch crews and vehicles, and ensure timely installation and service. You will receive and relay work orders, communicate with drivers and supervisors, and help optimize delivery and response times.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of experience in fast-paced environments, strong communication skills, and proficiency in data entry and computers.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a fast-paced multi-task environment.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Experience in shipping and truck loading.
• Strong data entry and computer skills.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations is required.

Responsibilities

• Arranges schedules and dispatches workers, work crews, equipment, or service vehicles to appropriate locations for installation, service, or repairs or for conveyance of materials, freight, or passengers.
• Receives telephone and written work orders, and relays orders, requests, messages, and information to appropriate personnel or departments.
• Transmits assignments using radio or telephone.
• Arranges for necessary repairs required to restore service and schedules.
• Talks with customers or management to address problems or questions regarding requests for service or equipment.
• Compiles statistics and daily reports on work progress.
