Job summary

Brenntag North America, Inc. seeks a detail‑oriented logistics associate in Wisconsin to inform customers about pricing, shipping details, delays, and post‑order information. You will check delivery tickets and prepare required BOLs while ensuring accuracy and safety compliance.

Collaborating with sales, shipping, and the warehouse, you will expedite shipments, optimize truck capacity, monitor DOT hours, and support daily facility operations and reporting in Intelex.

Qualifications

• GED/HS Diploma required.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to analyze, problem solve and offer solutions.
• Available to be on-call after hours, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Inform customers of unit prices, shipping details, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed after order placement.
• Check delivery tickets for changes or mistakes.
• Submit completed BOLs to the appropriate CSR and create millrun BOLs; perform order double checks.
• Adhere to company safety and environmental policies.
• Serve as backup in unloading inbound freight when a Driver is unavailable.
• Monitor inventory and notify Facilities Manager of stock depletion risks.
• Coordinate with sales, shipping, warehouse, and carriers to expedite or trace shipments.
• Plan deliveries to maximize truck capacity and efficiency.
• Dispatch drivers with complete instructions.
• Evaluate Drivers’ performance and monitor DOT hours.
• Perform weekly truck inspections with drivers and maintain ELD system.
• Assist Facility Manager with day-to-day matters and Intelex reporting.
• Promote open communication within the department and with peers across the company.

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inform customers of unit prices, shipping details, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by the customer after the placement of the original order.
• Check delivery tickets for changes or mistakes.
• Submit completed BOLs to the appropriate CSR; create millrun BOLs Perform order double checks.
• Performs all duties in strict accordance of company safety and environmental policies.
• Serve as backup in unloading inbound freight when a Driver is unavailable.
• Check inventory control and notify Facility Manager of orders that would deplete stock.
• Confer with sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments.
• Coordinate deliveries to maximize truck capacity and efficiency.
• Dispatch drivers providing complete instructions.
• Evaluate Drivers’ performance.
• Monitors Drivers’ DOT hours.
• Perform truck inspections with drivers on a weekly basis.
• Maintains ELD system, corrects errors and retrieves daily reports.
• Assist Facility Manager in the day to day matters of the facility.
• Manage the facility Intelex reporting system.
• Demonstrate and facilitate open and honest communication with the department and with employees at all levels of the company.
• Communicate regularly within the department on appropriate matters.
• Communicate with peer managers across the company.
• Related duties as assigned.
