Job summary

WelbeHealth seeks a Dispatcher to coordinate all transportation services for participants and enrollees, ensuring safety and timely communication. You will create and manage daily schedules, handle add-ons, cancellations, and no-shows, and support clinic teams with real-time updates.

The role requires strong communication, tech proficiency, and the ability to make timely decisions while juggling multiple priorities. Compensation includes base pay and bonus, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency; professional experience may be substituted.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience working in a public or private transportation setting.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a dispatcher setting.
• Current valid state driver’s license and vehicle insurance required.
• Participate in DMV pull notice and random testing for alcohol and controlled substances programs, pass DOJ/FBI background check, and pass DOT physical exam.
• Must maintain eligibility to drive under WelbeHealth’s commercial auto insurance program; age requirements: generally 25+, 23–24 may be considered based on history; drivers over 70 may need medical certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform active dispatching to support daily transportation operations.
• Maintain a daily call log for operational tracking and communication.
• Monitor and respond to HUB inquiries and operational requests.
• Update schedules based on Direct Line changes and updates.
• Provide timely documentation of cancellations or no-shows, and communicate missed appointments with the clinic team.
• Provide weekend dispatch coverage as needed.

The Dispatcher is accountable for coordinating all transportation services provided to participants and potential enrollees, as well as overseeing vehicle safety.
