Job summary

A leading distribution company in Oklahoma is seeking a motivated Dispatch Associate to manage incoming and outgoing equipment records. The ideal candidate will be proficient with computer systems, flexible with their schedule, and possess knowledge of Department of Transportation laws. A Bachelor's Degree and prior supervisory experience in the Freight Industry are preferred. This is a hands-on position that may require outdoor work and passing a criminal background screening.

Qualifications

World's leading distribution company is looking for a hard working and motivated candidate to successfully fulfill the requirements of the Dispatch Associate position.

Job Description

This candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties depending on the daily work load. This position will require this individual to record the inbound and outbound equipment, monitoring scheduled versus actual equipment types.

You will use the "Feeder Scheduling System (FSS)" to record this information and report to dispatch drivers. Prior experience using this system is a big plus.

May be required to enter timecards of drivers. Proficiency with computers is a MUST.

May be required to work in an outdoor environment to ensure trailer positions match the computer systems.

Flexibility with schedule is a MUST depending on daily work load.

All candidates must be able to pass a criminal background screening.

Looking for individuals with a strong willingness to learn and have no prior attendance issues.
