Job summary

Telgian in Phoenix seeks a Dispatcher responsible for vendor assignments to reactive service orders across the region. The role ensures orders are presented to the most qualified local vendors and that work is scheduled to meet the Anticipated Completion Date (ACD).

You will review open dispatch orders, coordinate with supervisors to secure regional vendor coverage, and confirm vendor acceptance while negotiating pricing per customer contracts.

Qualifications

  • No prior experience or training required.
  • High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Review and dispatch all open AX & SL service orders in a 'Dispatch' stage.
  • Review dispatch issues with supervisor to ensure adequate regional vendor coverage.
  • Ensure all vendors have accepted the work dispatched and update AX & SL service order to an 'Acknowledge' stage.
  • Build relationships with Vendors.
  • Negotiate pricing details based on Customer contracts.
  • Communicate with internal teams as needed to execute work.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Job description

SUMMARY: The Dispatcher is solely responsible for the vendor assignments to all reactive service orders for all customer locations in his or her designated region. The Dispatcher ensures the service order has been presented to, and accepted by, the most qualified vendor and confirms work will be completed on, or before, the designated Anticipated Completion Date (ACD). Qualified vendors are determined by their vendor status, local to work, pricing, and availability.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Review and dispatch all open AX & SL service orders in a 'Dispatch' stage.
  • Review dispatch issues with supervisor to ensure there is adequate regional vendor coverage to manage the workload.
  • Ensure all vendors have accepted the work dispatched and updating AX & SL service order to an 'Acknowledge' stage.
  • Building relationships with Vendors.
  • Negotiate pricing details based on Customer contracts.
  • Communicates with internal teams as needed to execute work.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
