Job summary

Blue Ridge Communications is seeking a reliable dispatcher to coordinate service calls, verify work orders, and assist Field Technicians with changes, pricing and equipment needs. The role includes filing completed work orders and contacting customers for scheduling and troubleshooting.

Training will be conducted in the office, with the option to work from home once fully trained. Pennsylvania residency and strong communication skills are required; prior dispatch or customer service experience

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• Residency in Pennsylvania.
• Reliable transportation.
• Dispatch or office customer service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with the local area helpful.
• Proficient with internet and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Will also be responsible for:

• Filing completed work orders
• Contacting customers when trouble shooting and/or scheduling work needs to be done
• Monitoring system outages
• Keeping Field Technicians informed of system problems
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Established residency in Pennsylvania
• Reliable transportation
• Previous experience working in a dispatch or in office customer service environment preferred
• Familiarity with the local area helpful
• Computer proficiency using the internet and Microsoft Office programs - Outlook Email, Word and Excel
