Job summary

Blue Ridge Communications is looking for a reliable dispatcher to manage service calls and support Field Technicians. Responsibilities include verifying work orders, monitoring system outages, and maintaining organization of completed work.

The ideal candidate should possess an H.S. Diploma or GED, reside in Pennsylvania, and have excellent communication and organizational skills. The shift runs Monday-Thursday from 12PM-9PM and Sundays from 10AM-7PM, with potential for remote work after training.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a dispatch environment preferred.
• Familiarity with the local area helpful.
• Established residency in Pennsylvania required.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch service calls and verify work orders for accuracy.
• Assist Field Technicians with changes, pricing and special equipment needs.
• Monitor system outages and keep Field Technicians informed.

• Filing completed work orders
• Contacting customers when trouble shooting and/or scheduling work needs to be done
• Monitoring system outages
• Keeping Field Technicians informed of system problems
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Established residency in Pennsylvania
• Reliable transportation
• Previous experience working in a dispatch environment preferred

• Computer proficiency using the internet and Microsoft Office programs - Outlook Email, Word and Excel
