Job description

PRIMARY PURPOSE & FUNCTION

Maintain safe and effective control and coordination of all equipment, materials and personnel between shorebases and job location. Must maintain liaison between customer, shorebase and various vendors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise control and coordination of vessel loading and unloading, coupled with the movement of personnel.
• Maintain compliance of all HSEQ standards and regulations for base and yard personnel.
• Maintain proper completion and filing of all paperwork and legal documents as required.
• Must keep up-to-date information on all operations to share any logistics movement.
• Must be aware of drilling operations to forecast any movements.
• Must supervise all yard and base personnel to expedite material, transport, and cranes to ensure vessels and all transportation is turned around in a timely manner in accordance with customer’s requirements.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Utilization of resources used in logistic operations.
• Minimum of one year involved with shorebase operations.
• Must have a high level of safety awareness.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High school degree or equivalent is preferred.

Additional training may be required in order to meet company or customer standards or expectations.
