Job description

Genesis Dispatcher is launching a fast-growing dispatching company focused on helping small trucking companies and owner-operators succeed. We’re looking for a highly experienced trucking dispatcher who can not only manage loads but also build operational systems, processes, and train new team members. This role requires a logistics architect capable of creating structure from scratch and optimizing performance.

What You’ll Do:

1. Build and document SOPs for dispatching, carrier onboarding, load sourcing, paperwork processing, etc.
2. Set up tools, CRM, and workflow automation with support from our team
3. Find and book loads for our initial clients using DAT, TruckStop, or similar load boards
4. Train and supervise new dispatchers/VAs as we scale
5. Handle broker communications, detention, lumper, and rate negotiation
6. Evaluate and streamline billing, invoicing, and Quick Pay assistance
7. Monitor broker credit and compliance systems
8. Help develop carrier relationships and support retention

You’re a Fit If You Have:

1. 2+ years experience dispatching trucks (Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, Box Truck, or Hotshot)
2. Deep knowledge of U.S. freight lanes, load boards, and rate negotiation
3. Experience creating SOPs and training junior staff
4. Familiarity with broker systems, factoring, and invoicing
5. Organized, resourceful, and proactive problem-solver
6. Strong English communication skills (Spanish is a bonus)
7. Experience helping build or scale a dispatching operation (ideal)

Bonus Points for:

1. Knowledge of tools like DAT, TruckStop, TMS systems, and CRM platforms
2. Experience working remotely with VAs or offshore teams
