Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking a candidate to support transportation and logistics operations. The role requires the ability to communicate with truck drivers and colleagues, follow safety and regulatory guidelines, and work shifts including holidays and weekends.

What We Are Looking For

Experience/specific knowledge:

• Must be able to work shift work including Holidays, weekends, and overtime.
• Must have knowledge of DOT requirements pertaining to truck shipments.
• Ability to effectively communicate in various forms, including radio, telephone, and email.
• Ability to work on-task and without direct supervision.
• Must have an attention for detail and accuracy.
• Must have an ability to work with a team and follow work rules.
• Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisors, keep required work schedules, focus attention on details and follow work rules.

What You Will Do

Physical demands:

• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
• Must be able to hear and smell for deficiencies or hazards.
• Overtime may be required and is anticipated.

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed and required.

Must be available to respond to call-out as assigned.

What You Need

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED.

Certifications, licenses, and registrations:

• Ability to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credentials (TWIC) card.

Competencies, skills, and abilities:

• Effectively communicate, orally (face to face and by telephone) and in writing, in English with coworkers, vendors, and truck drivers.
• Read and understand written material (in English), including use and understanding of basic numerical calculations.
• Must have basic computer skills. (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Ability to carry and communicate over a company provided mobile radio.
