Job summary

Southern Pharmacy Services in Grottoes, Virginia, seeks a detail-oriented delivery driver to support our long-term care pharmacy team. You will scan prescriptions, verify totes, and ensure accurate, on-time deliveries while upholding patient privacy standards.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver’s license, a clean record, and at least 2 years of driving experience. You’ll join a fast-paced, team-focused environment with flexible hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• 2+ years of driving experience.
• Computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Great attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Scan prescriptions into totes to ensure proper totting of product.
• Check totes for assigned facilities to ensure order is complete prior to departure.
• Present a pleasant and respectful demeanor to all clients at all times.
• Work with other team members as needed in special circumstances; be flexible as needed.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance, advise supervisor of repairs/maintenance needed.
• Follow instructions precisely related to patient privacy rules.
• Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed.

Work assigned routes with time sensitive delivery requirements. Ensure all deliveries are accurate and timely. Comply with Federal and Company privacy regulations regarding safeguarding of patient information.
