Honey Bucket, a division of Northwest Cascade, is seeking a dependable Dispatcher to coordinate driver routes and daily operations. You will monitor routes, respond to questions, and adjust plans as priorities shift while maintaining safety and high service levels.

This full-time, year-round position offers weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities to improve route efficiency in a casual, small-office setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Dispatch daily driver routes to ensure timely service.
• Monitor routes and adjust in real time based on priorities and staffing.
• Respond promptly to driver and customer questions and concerns.
• Find opportunities to improve route efficiency and performance.
• Forecast equipment and staffing needs and communicate to the team.
• Maintain safety and quality standards per company and DOT rules.
• Prepare and distribute operational reports.
• Follow established procedures and flag gaps to the Area Manager.
• Support teammates to keep daily priorities on track.

Dispatcher - Honey Bucket

Pay: $22 to $25 per hour DOE, paid weekly

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM; some weekend work may be required

Status: Full-time, year-round

Work Environment: Casual, small-office setting

We’re looking for a dependable, organized Dispatcher who can keep drivers, routes, and daily operations on track. This is a fast-paced role for someone who communicates well, stays calm under pressure, and enjoys figuring things out when plans change.

A Day in the Life

As a Dispatcher, you’ll work closely with the Area Manager and field teams to make sure service runs safely, efficiently, and with outstanding customer care. You will:

• Coordinate and dispatch daily driver routes
• Monitor routes and make real-time adjustments based on customer needs, staffing, and changing priorities
• Respond promptly and professionally to driver and customer questions, concerns, and complaints
• Look for opportunities to improve route efficiency and overall performance
• Forecast equipment and staffing needs and communicate them to the appropriate team members
• Maintain safety and quality standards in accordance with company and DOT requirements
• Complete accurate data entry and prepare and distribute operational reports
• Follow established systems and procedures and communicate gaps or concerns to the Area Manager
• Step in to support teammates and help keep daily priorities on track

Requirements

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous dispatch, logistics, transportation, or operations experience preferred
• Strong geographical awareness and route-planning skills
• Clear, professional communication with customers, drivers, and coworkers
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
• A calm, solutions-focused approach when plans change or problems come up
• Confidence using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and other operational software
• Ability to learn, follow, and help reinforce operational systems and standards

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and work at a desk for extended periods
• Regular use of a computer, phone, hands, and fingers
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds
• Ability to walk through yard or warehouse areas, including uneven surfaces, as needed
• Adequate hearing and vision to communicate effectively and monitor dispatch activities
