Job summary

Maersk Logistics & Services USA, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Scheduler to assign work for company and owner-operator trailer drivers, coordinating freight conveyance and ensuring timely delivery. You will manage driver lists, paperwork, and communications with customers in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The role is full-time, on-site with a Monday–Friday schedule, 11:30am–8pm. Education includes a high school diploma or GED, with 1–3 months related experience or training; company benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Compiles and maintains list of available drivers.
• Assigns trucks according to availability, purpose of trip, and freight.
• Issues record sheets, and all related paperwork to drivers.
• Trouble shooting and notifying appropriate parties of any changes.
• Records time of departure, destination, cargo, and expected time of return.
• Investigates overdue vehicles.
• Confers with customers to expedite or locate missing, misrouted, delayed, or damaged merchandise.
• Heavy communication with drivers on a daily basis.
• Position is full time and on-site.

Position Summary:

Pay Range:

$65,000 - $70,000

• The above-stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
