Job summary

Southern Home Services is seeking a dynamic Dispatcher to join our residential HVAC, plumbing and electrical team. You will be the main liaison between customers, technicians and management to ensure timely service delivery.

You will schedule appointments, update records, process payments and provide product information while upholding exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, friendly office environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year administrative or customer service experience in an office setting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
• ServiceTitan experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For

• Answer incoming customer requests and inquiries in a professional & friendly manner
• Act as a liaison between customers, technicians, salespersons & management
• Schedule service and routine maintenance appointments
• Maintain & update customer records based on interactions
• Process invoice payments
• Provide information about products and services
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues and concerns
• Develop & maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products & services that benefit our customers
• Participate in in-house training on products & services needed by our customers& office software required to fulfill this position
• Additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• $18 - $22 / hr
• Monday - Friday 9a - 6p and Saturday - Sunday 8a - 5p (rotating weekends)
• Minimum of 1-year administrative or customer service experience in an office setting is required
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office is a required
• Service Titan is a plus
• Ability to easily cultivate strong rapport with customers and co-workers
• Find it rewarding to organize, prioritize and manage time effectively to see a task through to completion
• Work well independently & with integrity in a structured yet relaxed environment
• Enjoy patiently, empathetically helping others
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The Physical Requirements Of This Job Include

• Perform work while sitting and/or standing at an individual work station or office
• Communicate verbally via phone or other communication device.
• Ability to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone
• Use hands to type, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 10 pounds.
• Work is usually performed in an indoor office environment.
