Job summary

Beacon Mobility is seeking a detail-oriented operations professional to schedule and dispatch drivers and vehicles across Nassau and Suffolk Counties, NY, as well as New York City, Westchester County, and Bridgeport, Connecticut.

You will relay work orders, communicate with drivers by phone, radio or text, resolve service requests, and maintain daily schedules and records as part of the We Transport / Towne Bus team.

Qualifications

• One year of transportation experience.
• High School diploma.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch drivers, vehicles or equipment to locations based on schedules or requests.
• Relay information to and from drivers via phone, radio, or text.
• Communicate with supervisors or customers to resolve service requests or problems.
• Prepare daily work schedules and work orders.
• Maintain records of work requests, expenses and inventory.
• Facilitate communications within assigned territories.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
