Job summary

UPS is seeking a dispatch supervisor to oversee Small Package dispatch activities, ensuring timely service, safety, and cost goals. This role coordinates with teams to maintain staffing and equipment levels, creates efficient dispatch plans, and tracks service metrics to implement improvements.

Responsibilities include evaluating driver hours, safety audits, and performance evaluations, with opportunities for growth in a permanent, on-site role within a Fortune Global 500 organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs and work in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Flexible shift hours up to 5 days per week; strong communication skills.
• Experience in management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews driver hours to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conducts hazardous materials audits and safety reviews.
• Verifies proper driver uniforms and safe work methods.
• Determines employee training needs for development plans.
• Provides feedback, support and conducts performance evaluations.
