MMT Ambulance is seeking a Dispatch Supervisor to lead the Communication Center, guiding a team to deliver high-quality emergency dispatch and customer service. You will ensure adherence to QA standards and collaborate with field operations and hospitals to maintain seamless patient transport operations.

The role requires prior call center and prehospital experience, strong leadership, and outstanding communication skills to manage high-stress situations effectively.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous call center experience is required.
• Experience in prehospital settings (ground ambulance, fire dept., law enforcement, etc.) preferred.
• Progress supervisory/administrative experience in medical services or equivalent.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle high-stress situations with good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Communication Center activities, and enforce policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with customer service and dispatch quality assurance.
• Collaborate with operations staff and area hospitals.
• Represent the Communication Center in meetings and briefings.
• Provide back-up support during peak volumes and prepare requested reports.

An incumbent in this classification works with considerable independence and receives general guidance from a superior.
