Job summary

Allied Universal in Newark, DE is seeking a Security Officer for our Dispatch Center. This full-time role coordinates responses to alarms and incidents, monitors systems, and documents events while delivering professional customer service at a financial institution site.

Schedule includes afternoon/evening shifts; starting pay is $20.00 per hour. Candidates need 3+ years in security or a college degree, plus a valid driver’s license and high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Monitor alarm systems, cameras, access-control notifications, and incoming communications; dispatch appropriate personnel and coordinate responses to security-related incidents.
• Receive, document, prioritize, and relay routine and emergency calls for service in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and shift activity reports in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Communicate with on-site personnel, management, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed during incidents and critical situations.
