Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks a detail‑oriented office coordinator to manage order entry and coordinate dispatch for trucking operations.

You will communicate with customers via phone, email, and fax, and support scheduling and equipment control. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with Google Suite is preferred; High School Diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in trucking and/or intermodal transportation.
• Experience with Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, etc.).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
• Excellent organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders into the computer system.
• Report and advise customer orders to dispatch promptly.
• Inform equipment control and dispatch of special customer needs.
• Print orders and coordinate the daily schedule for dispatch and control.
• Maintain direct and indirect communications with customers by phone, email, or fax.
• Perform other miscellaneous office support duties as assigned.
