Dispatch Coordinator / Dispatcher - Hybrid Work Environment!

Please note that a hybrid work environment is available once training is completed: 3 days in the Mark, IL office, 2 days remote.

The Regional Dispatch Coordinator I is part of a regional execution team responsible for scheduling, loading support, and inventory management of Mansfield's FTL deliveries. This role maintains inventory-managed tanks at acceptable fuel levels, schedules deliveries efficiently to optimize assets, and aligns with the company's business strategy. Additionally, it supports Mansfield's Supply team with procurement strategies and carrier loading challenges.

Responsibilities

1. Inventory Management

• Monitor designated customer's tank readings actively.
• Plan deliveries based on fuel levels and usage rates.
• Adjust delivery times considering market trends to meet customer needs at optimal purchasing opportunities.
• Document specific customer inventory requests.

Logistics Coordination

• Schedule and manage FTL freight from terminals to customers.
• Build strong relationships with carriers for profitable freight coordination.
• Adjust terminal group sourcing based on market arbitrage opportunities.
• Make independent decisions within guidelines, ensuring delivery requirements are met even if initial carriers decline.
• Support timely resolution of issues.
• Complete load and delivery confirmations daily without exceptions.

Supply Execution Support

• Assist carrier communications for loading directions professionally and efficiently.
• Implement supply strategies using optimization software and market insights.
• Coordinate with Supply on contract compliance and review carrier lifting accuracy.

Position Requirements

Formal Education & Certification

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Knowledge & Experience

• At least 1 year of dispatching or supply chain experience preferred.
• Petroleum industry experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Qualifications & Characteristics

• Ability to multitask and make impactful decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in dynamic, changing environments.
• Effective communication skills with all stakeholders.

Work Environment

• Hybrid work setup available post-training: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.
