Overview

America Networks is a leading sensor and networking solutions partner for companies in any Industrial, Manufacturing, and Waste management space. We design and manufacture sensors for storage tanks, water metering, energy metering, gas monitoring, and asset management. Our founders are hardcore telecommunications engineers with combined 200+ years of experience in designing, optimizing and performance engineering for several mid–large wireless carriers internationally. We provide low power, cost efficient sensors to collect data, create alerts, and predict needed actions, and we combine these sensors with low power, wide area (LPWA) networking technologies to give clients options to decrease re-occurring costs for an IoT network of sensors and connected devices. We specialize in design, deployment, optimization, and support of these networks. Whether an off-the-shelf or custom solution is needed, we’ll create a solution and push the data on the best cloud platform to fit your needs, including your own.

Job Description
  • Monitoring of all work activity and escalating as needed to ensure work is completed within set objectives.
  • Coordinate/deploy resources as determined by alarms, queues, trouble volumes, outages, preventative maintenance requirements and provisioning work requests.
  • Analyzing network facilities and CPE (Routers, CSU, Modem, etc.) equipment by using computerized test equipment to remotely isolate the repair problem.
  • Monitoring and tracking Services and Network Operations provisioning, maintenance and alarm work active.
  • Making risk assessments regarding the health of the Network based on standing alarms and other pertinent criteria.
  • Contacting internal and external customers (IXCs, CLECs, ILECs, vendors, etc.) to verify the site readiness, activity, schedule repair, and quote billing charges if necessary.
  • Operate a keyboard and use computers while sitting for prolonged periods of time. Generally wears a headset for extensive periods of time.
  • Creating swivelchair dispatches as needed to ensure all provisioning and maintenance orders are cared for.
  • May be required to perform additional duties and tasks as required by the Company.
