GEODIS is seeking a Dispatch Clerk in Grand Prairie, TX to support day-to-day routing and driver coordination. The role involves assigning cards, coordinating pickups with drivers, and logging activities to ensure timely deliveries.

Ideal candidates will have at least 6 months of related experience and the ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures, write routine reports, and perform basic math.

DISPATCH CLERK

Shift/Schedule:

Shift: 40 Hour Work Week
- 9am-6pm Hours and two days will be provided each week
- You will usually get two days off a week, dependent of available overtime. The off days are based off a rotating schedule.

Experience

• Minimum 6 months related experience and/or training
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
