Job summary

GEODIS is hiring for a Grand Prairie warehouse role in Texas. The position involves ripp ing and assigning cards, coordinating pickups with drivers, logging seals, and handling customer/driver inquiries. It requires manual dexterity, basic math, and reading safety documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions.

Shift: 40 Hour Work Week
- 9am-6pm Hours and two days will be provided each week
- You will usually get two days off a week, dependent of available overtime. The off days are based off a rotating schedule.

Experience

• Minimum 6 months related experience and/or training
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
