Job summary

Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, offers a full-time Public Affairs Intern position for January to June 2027. You will support communications, CSR, government relations, and ambassador initiatives, gaining hands-on experience with events, community programs, and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

  • Senior year preferred
  • Pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, taking at least one class, OR part of Disney College Program or Disney Internship.

Responsibilities

  • Support the integrated planning, communication, and execution of events with internal teams, community partners, nonprofits, and key stakeholders.
  • Help coordinate VIP and stakeholder visits, including unique behind-the-scenes Disneyland Resort experiences.
  • Partner with Government Relations and Corporate Citizenship teams to support community programs, sponsorships, and nonprofit partnerships.
  • Support department-wide initiatives through project coordination, event planning, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Respond to inquiries and keep projects moving across multiple teams while building valuable relationships across the Disneyland Resort and beyond.
  • Support the Disneyland Resort Ambassador Program through content creation, communications, and event coordination.

About the Role & Program The Disneyland® Resort Communications & Public Affairs team helps tell the stories behind the magic while protecting and enhancing the resort’s reputation. Our work spans media relations, community engagement, government relations, internal communications, public relations, and executive communications. As a Public Affairs Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting teams across Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Government Relations, Resort Communications, and the Disneyland Resort Ambassador Program. You'll contribute to meaningful projects, create engaging content, support community initiatives, and help bring events and experiences to life, while learning from experienced professionals and gaining exposure to a wide range of communications and public affairs work across the Disneyland Resort.


This full-time, six-month internship is based in Anaheim, California, from January 2027 through June 2027.


What You Will Do

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information


  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.

  • Have not completed one year of continuous employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program.

  • Be at least 18 years of age.

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization.

  • Be aligned with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.

  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Anaheim, California, area.

  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work.


Education

Pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.

Additional Information

The approximate dates of this internship are January 2027 through June 2027. Fully available Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Pacific Time Zone, for the duration of the internship (40 hours per week).
