Job summary

Walt Disney World in Anaheim, CA is offering a Professional Intern position in Industrial Engineering for Aug 2027–Dec 2027. You will conduct IE analysis projects, support workload planning, forecasting, capacity utilization, and efficiency improvements on projects across Disney segments.

You will apply data collection, simulations, statistics, and process analysis while collaborating with teams and management across Merchandise, Attractions, and Entertainment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Industrial Engineering program with an intended graduation date on or after December 2027.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (transcript submission required).

Responsibilities

• Conduct Industrial Engineering analysis projects (planning, workload forecasting, capacity utilization, efficiency improvements).

This internship is a full-time commitment in the Anaheim, CA area from August 2027 – December 2027.

What You Will Do

• Conduct Industrial Engineering analysis projects, particularly in operational planning support, workload planning and forecasting, capacity utilization, and efficiency/process improvements
• Ensure the appropriate methodology, measurements, tools and quantitative techniques (e.g. data collection, computer simulation, statistics, process flow analysis, etc.) are applied in projects
• Lead and participate in team efforts and work on projects which require interfacing with all levels of cast and management

• Currently enrolled in an Industrial Engineering program with an intended graduation date on or after December 2027
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (please note: no rounding) – transcript submission is required

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements below:

• Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess unrestricted work authorization
• Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program

Additional Information

• Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
• Fully available Monday – Friday and occasional evenings and/or weekends depending on project needs for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
• Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Anaheim, CA area
• Able to provide reliable transportation to/from work and across Disneyland property for on-site projects
• Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines while at work
