Responsibilities:
The Key Holder Cast Member supports the Store Leadership Team by managing daily store operations to ensure guests have "The Best Retail Experience in the World." This includes delivering exceptional guest service, developing cast members, maintaining visual standards, and ensuring policy compliance. This is a part-time, non-exempt role.
- Serve as Leader on Duty to coach and motivate cast members, fostering a culture of exceptional guest experiences through entertainment, engagement, and emotional connection to the brand.
- Support Disney Store's mission of creating magical moments for guests of all ages with inspiring communication, integrity, and passion.
- Hold self and others accountable to high performance standards, providing memorable guest experiences.
- Coach and give feedback to cast members to drive productivity and morale.
- Consider the impact of actions on individuals, teams, and the organization.
- Participate in community initiatives to promote the Disney brand.
- Collaborate across functions to leverage synergy opportunities.
- Translate strategy into specific priorities, objectives, and action plans.
- Monitor business performance metrics such as Mystery Shop scores, sales KPIs, and controllable expenses.
- Ensure store opening and closing procedures are followed per company policy.
- Uphold all company policies outlined in SOPs, Employee Policy Manual, and Code of Conduct.
- Communicate effectively at all levels, even under pressure.
- Provide basic direction and feedback to cast members.
- Maintain attention to detail, prioritize guest needs, and manage tasks efficiently.
- Create a positive work environment and respond constructively to feedback.
- Adhere to Disney Store grooming guidelines and maintain professional appearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. and climb ladders.
- Availability for at least three weekdays, including weekends, with flexible scheduling, including evenings, holidays, and call-ins.
- Legal right to work in the U.S. verification.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in specialty retail.
- Fluency in another language besides English.
- Comfort with storytelling in front of large groups.
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
