Base pay range

$14.00/hr - $16.00/hr

Skyline Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation is currently seeking a talented Dishwashing Aide to join our team! The working hours are 8:30 am - 3:30 pm.

The primary purpose of this role is to assist with all dietary functions as directed, following established dietary policies and procedures, while embodying Eduro Healthcare Values of wellness, compassion, customer experience, and company results.

Responsibilities include:

• Following safety precautions, life safety, and infection control policies during daily tasks.
• Preparing food as assigned, assisting the cook, and ensuring proper handling and storage of food. Gaining knowledge of diets and menus.
• Serving meals, clearing the dining area, and wiping tables.
• Washing dishes and equipment, and thoroughly cleaning the work area.
• Ensuring tray preparation aligns with prescribed menus and respecting residents' preferences when possible.
• Preparing and distributing snacks to the nursing department as needed.
• Stocking the storeroom and bringing out supplies as needed.
• Taking out trash, sweeping and mopping floors in the dining room, kitchen, and pantry, wiping shelves, cleaning appliances and equipment, and maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen.

To perform successfully, a Dishwashing Aide must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The listed requirements represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed.
