Job summary

Tatte Bakery & Café is hiring a dishwasher to join our Back of House team in Ridgewood, NJ. You will help maintain cleanliness, support kitchen operations, and ensure sanitary conditions across shifts.

We value teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude. No prior kitchen experience required, but a willingness to learn and flexibility to work mornings/evenings/weekends is preferred. E-Verify employer.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the dish machine.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain an adequate supply of clean dishware, glassware, silverware, and cookware throughout each shift.
• Keep the dish area and kitchen clean, organized, and sanitary.
• Support kitchen operations wherever needed.
• Follow all sanitation and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

THE ROLE

Dishwashers play an essential role in keeping our kitchens running smoothly. They are passionate about food and genuine hospitality and work as part of the Back of House team to maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation while supporting kitchen operations.
