Responsibilities

• Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals according to safety standards.
• Monitor dish area and ensure clean items are available throughout the day.
• Remove trash and recyclables regularly and ensure proper disposal procedures are followed.
• Assist with basic kitchen prep tasks and support team cleanliness efforts.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with fellow Team Members and kitchen leadership.
• Uphold Plum Market policies, procedures, and SOPs.

Description:

The Dishwasher plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food prep areas at Plum Market. This role is responsible for washing and sanitizing all tableware, cookware, and kitchen equipment, as well as cleaning floors, walls, coolers, and other surfaces. The Dishwasher ensures a safe and sanitary environment that supports food safety and smooth back-of-house operations. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position ideal for someone who takes pride in clean, efficient work.
