Join us as a Dishwasher at Vu Rooftop, part of The Fifty/50 Group

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced, culinary environment. Your responsibilities will include washing dishes and flatware, restocking items, cleaning appliances and machines, trash disposal, mopping, and assisting with general cleaning across the restaurant. The ideal candidate is a committed, communicative team player with excellent time management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and adhering to food safety regulations.

Essential Functions:

• Wash glassware, pots, pans, silverware, and plates
• Operate dish machine and three-compartment sink correctly
• Use cleaning chemicals properly
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Follow instructions from Line Cooks and Kitchen Manager
• Deep clean surfaces and organize efficiently
• Handle sharp objects safely
• Manage time effectively
• Sweep and mop thoroughly
• Collaborate well with team members

Other Functions:

• Fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
• Maintain health and food safety standards, restocking items and sanitation

Physical Requirements:

• Stand/walk for at least 8 hours
• Lift up to 30 pounds frequently
• Perform reaching, bending, stooping, and fine manipulation
• Work in warm and cool environments, with high noise levels
• Tolerate potential allergens such as peanuts, eggs, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, and shellfish
