Job Description:

The Food Services Dishwasher - Utility Worker is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all cutlery, glassware, food machines, etc. It is essential that the dishwasher maintains the dishwashing stations in a pristine and safe manner to ensure patient safety.

Job Specific Duties:

• Ensures all department dishes, glassware, cooking utensils are clean, sanitized, and properly stored.
• Ensures that there are always clean dishes, glasses, and utensils ready for use.
• Replaces water in the dishwasher on an hourly basis.
• Removes trash and garbage from the restaurant.
• Rolls/unrolls mats to clean floors.
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace, ensuring proper sanitation and safety standards.
• Maintains daily HACCP logs.
• Unloads and organizes storeroom stock as needed.
• Follows established safety standards in food preparation, service, cleaning, and equipment maintenance.
• Immediately reports equipment issues or failures to management.
• Reports to work consistently, follows all time clock procedures, policies, and procedures.

Minimum Experience Required:

• Minimum of six (6) months experience in food production and service; experience in non-food businesses may be considered if relevant.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively in English.
• HS Diploma; one additional year of food service/customer experience can substitute for diploma.
