Job summary

Carriage Inn Katy is seeking Part-Time Dishwashers/Utility Workers to continue our story of compassionately caring for our residents. The role offers daytime shifts from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

and opportunities to work with staff and residents in a supportive environment. Responsibilities include loading and unloading the dish machine, keeping equipment clean, and maintaining supplies while ensuring a sanitary and organized kitchen area.

Qualifications

• Must be or become within 60 days an accredited food handler per State guidelines.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Be able to work in hot, wet, humid, and loud environments for long periods of time.
• Must be willing to undergo a routine background check.

Responsibilities

• Load, run and unload dish machine.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
• Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
• Keep the dish room clean and organized.
• Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.
• Bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster at designated times.
• Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
• Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
• Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
