Job summary

A seafood restaurant chain in Birmingham, Alabama is looking for a Dishwasher/Utility. This role involves cleaning and maintaining restaurant areas, sanitizing kitchenware, and supporting Cooks in preparation tasks. The ideal candidate must meet age requirements, preferably have culinary experience, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Qualifications

• Culinary experience preferred.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds safely.
• Ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 - 12 hour shift.
• Team player with attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the restaurant.
• Cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans and cooking utensils.
• Safely and correctly operating the dishwasher and other equipment.
• Emptying all trash in the kitchen and other areas.
• Supporting the Cooks with prep work and preparation of our signature Cheddar Bay biscuits.
• Following all cleanliness and safety protocols.
