Job summary

Torchy’s Tacos in Abilene, Texas is seeking a Utility Team Member to maintain a clean, safe dining area and help the kitchen run smoothly. You will perform dining room and back-of-house cleaning, restock and assist customers, with daily cleaning tasks and responsibility for trash removal and sanitizing stations. The role offers full-time hours with benefits after 1 year and a pooled tips structure.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers Certification is required.
• Must be able to stand for several hours.
• Able to follow cleaning lists and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop dining room, bathrooms, and back of house as needed.
• Clean spills promptly to maintain safety.
• Pre-bus tables to keep dining area tidy.
• Clean windows, walkways, and entrances/exits.
• Collect trash in parking lot and keep exterior welcoming.
• Clean and stock beverage stations, highchairs, and trash cans.
• Restock service areas as necessary.
• Clean bathrooms before opening and monitor cleanliness throughout the day.
• Assist customers and follow cleaning lists; perform extra tasks as assigned by management.
• Take out front-of-house trash and power wash outside areas per daily lists.
• Set up sanitizer buckets at all trash stations.
• Ensure table bases and chair legs are clean.
