Job summary

Picasso Restaurant Group is hiring a reliable Dishwasher/Utility Worker to join our team at the University of Michigan-Flint UCEN Café. You will contribute to a fast-paced kitchen, keeping dishes and equipment clean and organized.

The role involves basic prep support, sanitation, trash removal, and teamwork to maintain smooth cafe operations. Occasional nights and weekends for catering events may be required.

Qualifications

• Dependable and punctual with a positive attitude.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks.
• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus, but we will train the right person.
• Must be available for occasional nights and weekends for catering events.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Keep the dish area and kitchen clean and organized.
• Assist with general kitchen cleaning and sanitation.
• Take out trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the café.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Dishwasher/Utility Worker to join our team at the University of Michigan-Flint UCEN Café.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced food service environment and takes pride in keeping a kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Keep the dish area and kitchen clean and organized
• Assist with general kitchen cleaning and sanitation

Location: U of M Flint – UCEN Café
Pay: $15-$17/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Primarily daytime hours, with occasional nights/weekends for catering events
