Job summary

OMAKAI sushi - Coconut Grove in Miami is hiring a dishwasher to support a busy full-service kitchen. This role cleans dishes, silverware and kitchenware promptly and helps maintain cleanliness on the dining floor and prep areas.

Responsibilities include washing dishes, handling trash, and performing side jobs as needed. One year of dishwashing experience preferred; must work well in a team, follow safety procedures, and maintain a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• One year of dishwashing experience preferred.
• Ability to handle restaurant ware safely and hygienically.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize all dishes, silverware, glassware and kitchenware promptly.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, sweeping or mopping as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining floor, kitchen, bathrooms and prep areas.
• Handle trash disposal safely and bag waste promptly.
• Perform side duties before, during and after shifts.
